Area Coordinators: The Area Joint Apprenticeship Agreements cover each of the following U.S. Regions: Western States Area Great Lakes Area Southeastern States Area Northeastern States Area Each area committee employs full-time coordinator(s) who administers the apprentice application and selection procedure in that region under the direction of the Area Joint Apprenticeship Committee. In addition, the Area Coordinator oversees the operation of the Area Apprenticeship Office and keeps the apprentice roster up-to-date. The Area Coordinator also supports instructional and training activities and monitors the progress of individuals in the apprenticeship program. The Area Coordinator verifies that each apprentice is following the area and national requirements while in the program.
