SELECTION
PROCESS

Applicants entering this program are selected first on the basis of welding qualifications, and then on the basis of random selection, as set forth in the approved standards and selection procedures of the National Joint Apprenticeship Committee for the trade.

Applications remain active for two years. If applicants haven’t been indentured within the two-year period they must re-apply.

HELMETS TO
HARDHATS

If you are a veteran, with an honorable discharge, and you have completed the Helmets to Hardhats registration process, your name will be added to the top of the local's applicant registry. When that local requests apprentices, you will gain direct entry into the apprenticeship program.
