WHAT WE DO

At the Boilermakers National Apprenticeship Program, we take great pride in the extensive training of our apprentices, as well as continued training for qualified Journeymen.

MINIMUM

REQUIREMENTS

The apprenticeship is a four-year, on-the-job training program, consisting of a minimum of the following:

  • Four years

  • 576 classroom hours

  • 6,000 field construction hours

TESTS

Apprentices are required to complete related studies lessons over the course of the four year apprenticeship program.

 

Each lesson is followed by a 25 question test.

 

There are 49 total tests.  A minimum score of 70% must be achieved in order to move on to the next test.

ADDITIONAL TRAINING

Training isn't just for apprentices. Boilermakers consistently train throughout their careers.
